🍹 Fresh Summer Fruit Juice
Description
Fresh Summer Fruit Juice is a bright, refreshing drink made with a combination of juicy summer fruits, fresh lemon, and chilled water. It’s naturally sweet, colorful, and perfect for hot afternoons, family gatherings, picnics, or a relaxing drink at home.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled
- 1 orange, peeled and separated
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup fresh mango, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey, optional
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- Orange or lemon slices, for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Fruit
Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Remove the strawberry stems, peel the orange, and cut the watermelon, pineapple, and mango into small pieces.
2. Blend the Fruits
Add the watermelon, strawberries, orange, pineapple, mango, and cold water to a blender. Blend for about 1–2 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth and juicy.
3. Add Lemon and Sweetener
Add the fresh lemon juice. Taste the juice before adding honey because the fruits may already be naturally sweet. If needed, add 1–2 tablespoons of honey and blend again for a few seconds.
4. Strain if Desired
For a smoother juice, pour it through a fine-mesh strainer into a large jug. Press gently with a spoon to extract the juice. If you prefer a thicker, fruitier drink, you can skip this step.
5. Chill
Add the ice cubes to the jug and stir well. Place the juice in the refrigerator for about 20–30 minutes if you want it extra cold.
6. Serve
Pour the juice into chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a small orange or lemon slice.
🌿 Tips for the Best Summer Juice
- Use ripe, naturally sweet fruits for the best flavor.
- Chill the fruit before blending so you don’t need as much ice.
- Add lemon juice gradually so the drink doesn’t become too sour.
- For a thinner juice, add a little more cold water.
- For a thicker smoothie-style drink, reduce the water and keep the fruit pulp.
- You can replace honey with a small amount of maple syrup if desired.
🍓 Easy Variations
Tropical Juice: Add extra pineapple and mango with a little coconut water.
Berry Juice: Replace the orange and pineapple with blueberries and raspberries.
Watermelon Mint Juice: Use mostly watermelon with lemon juice and plenty of fresh mint.
Citrus Juice: Combine oranges, grapefruit, and lemon with chilled water.
🥤 Serving Ideas
Serve this juice immediately in tall glasses with plenty of ice. It pairs beautifully with Fresh Summer Berry Salad and Grilled Vegetable Skewers, making it a great addition to a summer lunch or backyard gathering.
Storage
Fresh fruit juice tastes best when served immediately. If needed, keep it covered in the refrigerator and use it within 24 hours. Stir well before serving because natural fruit pulp may settle at the bottom.
